Mr and Mrs Sun Chan Memorial Award in Organic Chemistry

To commemorate his parents, Professor Sunney I. Chan (Caltech, Pasadena, and Academia Sinica, Taipei) generously donated funds to establish the Mr and Mrs Sun Chan Memorial Award in Organic Chemistry. This award (US$ 2,000 and a plaque) is given to organic chemists under the age of 40 during the International Symposia for Chinese Organic Chemistry. The past awardees are: Luping Yu (Chicago), Dan Yang (Hong Kong) / Gregory Fu (Cambridge), Michael K.Chan (Columbus), and Shengming Ma (Shanghai).
